I think, if you take this story as a romantasy with a FAINT Greek background, it is a decent story. HOWEVER, as marketed as a retelling of the Odyssey is…false. Also, if you are an Ancient Greek historian, there will be some inconsistencies.

However, there were elements of the story - the characterization was beautiful and well written - that I loved. If I could give this a 3.5 I would.
